| "Nessie"
war 1979 die erste Looping Achterbahn, die in einem deutschen Freizeitpark fest installiert wurde.
Etwas Besonderes ist die Hauptbremsanlage, welche sich in einem Tunnel befindet, der mit
Lichteffekten versehen ist. Es gibt eine zweite Ausführung dieser Bahn: "Aconcagua" ist eine Kopie (wenn auch ohne Looping) im "Parque de la Ciudad" (ex-"Interama") in Buenos Aires, Argentinien. "Aconcagua" wurde als "Speedracer" ausgeliefert, hat allerdings optisch nichts mit den "Speedracern" der ersten Generation (1971 bis 1976) gemein. 1979, "Nessie" was the first looping coaster to be installed in a german amusement park. A special is the final
breakrun which is in a tunnel featuring light-effects. There is a second coaster of this type existing: "Aconcagua" is a non-looping clone of "Nessie" at "Parque de la Ciudad" (ex-"Interama") in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Delivered as a "Speedracer", it has not much to do with the typical "Speedracers" of the first generation (1971 - 1976). I like to thank Ralph Latotzki for the aerial shot. |
